My 4th graders from the 7th Primary School of Thebes, Greece created their own avatar with pixton , posters with their description and introduced themselves in an interactive way by genial.ly . In addition, they created a quiz where you have to guess whose poster it is . We hope you like it:

  Our students carried out mindful practices after each month's activity for the etwinning project " Play read eat create be grateful repeat ... ". Latest research in the field of neuroscience with evidence based papers shows that mindful activities cultivate meta cognitive awareness abilities and strengthen the grade of resilience in students. Intra and inter personal hapiness and well-being are skills which can definitely can evolve in primary school age with great long- term benefits. Class AP3A | Codeweek'22 (ubbu)

My 3rd graders from Class AP3A joined ubbu for Codeweek'22, a portuguese coding platform designed to connect computer science/ thinking to STEAM and learn to solve real life challenges by coding. You can check it out here:  https://pt.ubbu.io/ Why did we choose ubbu? The combination of online and offline activities, the use of programming in students' real lives and the connection with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals make ubbu an ideal tool for linking programming with the classroom and context of daily life. . We will carry on with this project during the school year, once a month, in English Classes with our English Teacher Carla Nunes in collaboration with our ICT Teacher Júlio Diamantino. Programming, designing and building robots, because we learn and have fun at the same time!
